Dagomys troughs are natural rock baths with clean cool water in the Greater Sochi region. Salvation in the summer heat! And here you will also see a picturesque tea plantation.

Dagomys troughs will hardly surprise you, but they will definitely give you a couple of hours of pleasant coolness in the hot summer! It's great to change the sunny coast to the shady banks of a cold mountain river, overgrown with forest.

The troughs are rocky baths with clear turquoise water. They are formed by vertical layers of marl and shale. Sedimentary rocks are located perpendicularly or at an angle to the channel, therefore fonts are formed there, in which locals and rare tourists love to splash so much. There are a lot of troughs, so there is enough for everyone!

How much is

There are two entrances to the Dagomys troughs - one main and comfortable one, through a cafe and a bathhouse, and there are most people there. From there you can go down the steps to a small beach. If you go from Dagomys towards Solokhaul, then he will be the first.

Another entrance is 200 meters away. There you need to go over the suspension bridge and cross a small tea plantation... You will come to the same beach, but on the other side of the river. We went exactly through the second entrance - it seems to me that it is more interesting because of the plantation, and there are fewer people there. However, you can always wade across the river!

Both entrances are paid - 200 rubles. Children under 10 years old - free. In October, the box office was empty, and we went through for free.

How to get to Dagomys troughs

The baths are located on the Western Dagomys River, 9 km from the Dagomys resort. We visited them on the way from Solohaul by car. Find out more about traveling south by car.

The coordinates of the first entrance: 43.732588, 39.675025.

The coordinates of the second entrance: 43.734212, 39.676283.

Judging by Yandex.Maps, you can get from Sochi with a change: from the bus station to Dagomys by bus # 81 or by train, and then by buses # 145, 146 or 154 to the Koryta stop.
